Description

This new and exciting live online qualification will enable you to develop a wide range of key bookkeeping skills that are highly valued by employers. You will study two units, Bookkeeping Transactions and Bookkeeping Controls, and will take an examination at the end of each unit. AAT registration fees and exam fees for the first sitting of each exam are included in the course fee. Any exam resit fees are not included. You will need to have good levels of spoken and written English and a high level of numeracy. Experience of working in a finance environment is useful, but not essential.

Course content:

This course will be delivered online and all resources will be provided electronically. If learners wish to print out the electronic resources at home, it is estimated that this would cost approximately £25 in printing costs.

This course is made up of two units:

  • Bookkeeping Transactions
  • Bookkeeping Controls

Each unit is assessed by an end of unit externally set examination, which covers all of the material covered in each unit. Students who pass both exams will be awarded the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping.

Whilst AAT are currently planning to offer learners the opportunity to sit some exams remotely due to the Coronavirus situation, it may be necessary for learners to come into college to sit some exams or, where learners are studying outside of the Sussex area, it may be necessary for them to make arrangements to sit some exams at an AAT exam centre local to them. Where learners need to come into college to sit exams, appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures will be implemented.
