The Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care is more suited to people already in a role within Health and Social care who wish to progress within that role. This qualification does not provide a licence to practise, but may support progression into a wide range of job roles in the health and social care sector, including: • Care Support Workers in adult residential settings • Healthcare Assistants in community, primary care and acute health environments • Care Support Workers in domiciliary services, supported living or day services • Community-based Support Workers This course is free to any learner that does not already have a level 3 qualification.

Please note that students will be expected to meet deadlines, conduct research and take part in group activities. There will be the opportunity to complete some of the course as distance/ blended learning. This will be discussed at the interview

Learners will be able to progress to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care; also learners will be offered an interview for the Access to Higher Education Diploma leading to university study
