There will be temporary changes to the teaching of this course due to Covid 19

Your safety is our priority, and in these unprecedented times we need to make some temporary changes until it is safe to welcome you all into class.

So, to begin with, your classes will be taught with a mix of online teaching and some 1:1 tutorial or small group work in a safe, socially distanced environment. Some cases courses may be taught fully online if that works best.

However, nobody needs to come into class until they feel happy to do so, all the materials you need to succeed will be online, and if you choose to stay home, we will make sure you will receive all the support you need via email, phone and through our Virtual Learning Environment.

Topics covered will include creating characters and setting the scene. We’ll look at fiction, poetry and autobiography, and you’ll do writing exercises, discuss authors, and begin to share your own work in an supportive and encouraging environment.
