This course is aimed at people looking to work in the health and social care sector. You will learn about the wide range of rewarding employment available in the health and social care sector. In addition, you will learn how to communicate effectively with service users and other health care professionals as well as how to work effectively as part of a team.

There are no specific entry requirements; learners need to demonstrate at the interview their interest in health and social care

Please note that students will be expected to meet deadlines, conduct research and take part in group activities. There will be the opportunity to complete some of the course as distance/ blended learning. This will be discussed at the interview
