The aim will be to gain confidence using your camera so that you take better images. The course will cover topics such as image composition and exposure, how to focus accurately and the effect on images of shutter speed and aperture as well as explore taking images using a variety of camera modes. We will also look at different kinds of creative photography to suit all interests and look at some of the history of photography for inspiration!
There will be temporary changes to the teaching of this course due to Covid 19
Your safety is our priority, and in these unprecedented times we need to make some temporary changes until it is safe to welcome you all into class.
So, to begin with, your classes will be taught with a mix of online teaching and some 1:1 tutorial or small group work in a safe, socially distanced environment. Some cases courses may be taught fully online if that works best.
However, nobody needs to come into class until they feel happy to do so, all the materials you need to succeed will be online, and if you choose to stay home, we will make sure you will receive all the support you need via email, phone and through our Virtual Learning Environment.
