About Course

An introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in a school environment, which can apply to the many varied roles that full- and part-time support staff fulfil. These include administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as those roles that work directly with children and young people. It provides initial training and induction for those new in post and includes one optional unit that allows learners to understand how schools are organised. This course may be supported financially by Brighton and Hove Council if you are working or volunteering in a Brighton Local Authority School.
