AAL recognises that it is our duty to help staff and learners recognise their responsibilities (through guidance, support and training), minimise risk and avoid situations where abuse or neglect might be alleged. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility – but at different levels.
Learners, staff, tutors and volunteers are all responsible for creating an environment that promotes wellbeing and ensures personal safety.
