Claire Hooper, AAL was recognised by Aldridge Education for a special Bronze award, receiving a certificate and book token from AAL Principal Nick Fenn, to recognise her hard work and impact on transforming opportunities for our maths students in and around Portslade and Brighton & Hove. Well done Claire!
Her nomination, from a fellow team member, stated:
She is caring, considerate and works so well with the admin team to ensure that all aspects of the learner experience are the best they can be – for her the standard really is excellent and she is a prime example of someone who leads by example and sets a high bar for others to aspire to. Claire really does place teaching, learning and the support of learners at the heart of what she does and nothing is too much trouble when a learner’s progress or welfare is concerned. For Claire, time is valuable and she knows the impact of her learners getting a maths qualification – for her every moment matters and she knows that this applies to her learners too.
